Tadalafil

Tadalafil (Cialis) is an oral medication used to treat impotency. Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor which treats erectile dysfunction. The drug can be effective for up to 36 hours after consumption. Cialis is the third drug developed to cope with erectile dysfunction. The mechanism of its functioning is alike it predecessor Viagra and Levitra. It increases the volume of cyclic cGMP that will further increase the blood flow within the tissues of the male organ. This phenomenon does enable a stimulus for proper erection to be attained whenever required. How it work

Tadalafil is a drug that can improve the flow of blood in the veins of the penis. It is acknowledged that sexual stimulation releases nitric oxide which will initiate the process. The nitric oxide (NO) will root an enzyme to produce cGMP. The cGMP is the main element responsible for the regulation of blood in the arteries carrying blood to and away from the penis. The male organ will be erected as long as the cGMP is not wiped out by another enzyme, PDE-5. Once this occurs the blood will retaliate and the state of the penis will become normal (not erected). Tadalafil has a special function of preventing PDE-5 to intervene in the process of destroying the cGMP. This does ultimately allow a prolonged penile erection. The male organ will remain engorged for as long as the blood remains present in the arteries of the organ.

Tadalafil Side effects

Tadalafil causes some side effects such as dizziness, pain, numbness, or tingling in the chest during sexual activity, immediately notice some of these effects, stop using the drug and call your doctor.

Other side effects caused by Tadalafil includes chest pain or heavy feeling, pain around the arm or shoulder, stuffy nose, general ill feeling, sweating or an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours. Also, if you experience any of these symptoms after taking Tadalafil, inform your doctor immediately.

PRECAUTIONS:

It is strictly advised not to use more than one ED medicine. Tadalafil is not necessarily compatible to be consumed simultaneously with any other PDE-5 inhibitors. The degree of alcohol consumed can also be the general cause towards side-effects such as headache and dizziness. Alcohol will lower blood pressure and rise heart beat. It is thus advised not to over consume alcoholic drinks while under tadalafil medication.
