How Taken
For most men, the recommended dose is 50 mg, taken as needed, approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. This represents one half of the usual 100 mg tablet. Based on effectiveness and tolerance, the dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 100 mg, or decreased to 25 mg.
Kamagra is rapidly absorbed. Maximum effect occurs between 30 to 120 minutes of taking the tablet.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. Do not take 2 doses at a time.
Side effects
Like with all medicines, some people taking KAMAGRA may experience side effects. These are usually mild and don??™t last longer than a few hours. The most common side effects are:
- Headache
- Facial flushing
- Upset stomach
Warnings
KAMAGRA is not for newborns, children or women. Do not let anyone else take your KAMAGRA. KAMAGRA must be used only under a healthcare provider's supervision.
Before you start any treatment with KAMAGRA, be sure to ask your healthcare provider if your heart is healthy enough. If you're a man who uses nitrate drugs, like nitroglycerine, never take KAMAGRA. The combination of KAMAGRA and nitrates can make your blood pressure suddenly drop to unsafe levels. You could get dizzy, faint or even have a heart attack or stroke. Nitrates are found in many prescription medications that are used to treat angina (chest pain due to heart disease) such as:
Nitroglycerin (sprays, ointments, skin patches or pastes, and tablets that are swallowed or dissolved in the mouth)
Isosorbide mononitrate and isosorbide dinitrate (tablets that are swallowed, chewed or dissolved in the mouth)
Nitrates are also found in recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite ("poppers"). If you are not sure if any of your medications contain nitrates or if you do not understand what nitrates are, ask your healthcare provider or pharmacist.
Drug Interactions
Do not take Kamagra if you are taking the following medications: nitroglycerin-type drugs for the heart or chest pain such as amyl nitrite, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, nitroglycerin, even if these are only taken occasionally Kamagra may also interact with the following medications:
alpha blockers, used for high blood pressure or an enlarged prostate. NOTE: Do not take doses of sildenafil higher than 25 mg within 4 hours of taking alpha blockers, such as alfuzosin (UroXatral?®), doxazosin (Cardura?®), prazosin (Minipress?®), or terazosin (Hytrin?®).
bosentan; certain drugs used for seizures such as carbamazepine, phenytoin, and phenobarbital; certain drugs used for fungal or yeast infections, such as fluconazole, ketoconazole, and voriconazole; certain drugs for the treatment of HIV infection or AIDS; cimetidine; cisapride; clarithromycin; diltiazem; erythromycin; grapefruit juice; mibefradil; monoamine oxidase inhibitors (Azilect?®, Eldepryl?®, Emsam?®, Marplan?®, Nardil?®, Parnate?®, Zelapar.); nitroprusside; rifabutin; rifampin; quinidine; some drugs for treating depression, anxiety or other mood problems (examples: fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, nefazodone); verapamil
Kamagra Storage
Kamagra should be kept at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degree C). It should be kept away from the reach of children.
